Thai Fruit (ผลไม้ไทย)
Thai Fruit is delicious. Some are sweet, sour and bitter. They are banana, bel, orange, caramba, coconut, custard-apple, durian, indian jujube, jack-fruit, langsat,lichi,longan,mangosteen,marian plum, musk melon, pineapple, rose apple, pumpkin and watermelon. They are many in the east of Thailand. For example Chonburi,Chantaburi, Trad and Payong.
ผลไม้ไทยเป็นผลไม้ที่อร่อย บางชนิดหวาน เปรี้ยว และขม เช่น กล้วย, มะตูม, ส้ม, มะเฟือง, มะพร้าว, น้อยหน่า, ทุเรียน, พุทรา, ขนุน, ลางสาด, ลิ้นจี่, ลองกอง, มังคุด, มะปราง, แตงไทย, สับปะรด, ชมพู่, ฟักทอง และแตงโม ผลไม้ไทยเหล่านี้จะมีมากทางภาคตะวันออกของประเทศไทย เช่น ชลบุรี, จันทบุรี, ตราด, ระยอง

Longan /lam-yai/ ลำไย
The longan is a succulent fruit that is fragrant, sweet, extremely juicy, easy to eat, and consistently outranks other varieties in taste tests. The smooth thin leathery brown skin varies from light brown when most fresh, then begins to turn darker brown with age and/or environmental changes. Once the skin has been easily peeled off, the translucent grape-like fruit is exposed. Longans are mostly eaten fresh by themselves and in salads. Refrigerated longans taste very refreshing.

Custard apple – nói nàa - น้อยหน่า
A relalive of the custard Apple,the peppermint-green fruit has a bumpy surface covered in soft scales,the flavor is of a creamy lemon sherbet or lemon meringue pie.

Jack fruit /knŭn /ขนุน
Can pack quite a pong. The aroma is guite musky with a hint of over-ripe bananas. It can be quite over powering in confined places. The flesh is removed in small bright yellow sections about 3 inches long and is very sweet and the juice tastes a little of banana bubblegum!!!
